PEDAGOGICAL TRAINING IN NURSING GRADUATE COURSES IN BRAZIL

ABSTRACT Objective to analyze how professors’ education takes place in Graduate Programs Nursing Brazil. Method this is an exploratory and descriptive study that used as a technique document analysis of data obtained from the examined programs. Data collection was carried out May 2020. Numerical were analyzed using simple relative frequency. Course description other information available courses grouped according themes addressed. Results fifty-three stricto sensu graduate programs nursing identified offered 61 related pedagogical training. Of these, 28 had course description/information online, they analyzed. The emerging analyzes into two dimensions: “The pillars faculty training” “Didactics” both indicate essential elements for training professors who work higher education, especially health area, fundamental importance due today’s demands, which require competent versatile professionals, capable solving problems working team. Conclusion inherent teaching requires educational intentions, addition encouraging self-reflection processes on new ways planning executing learning process. In nursing, it necessary encourage professor trainers expand offer courses, make descriptions produce knowledge area aiming at exchanging experiences.
